Oaks North Marbella HOA Board of Directors Meeting (Sept. 26, 2008)

Oaks North Marbella Homeowners Association
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
September 26, 2008

The Board of Directors Meeting of the Oaks North Marbella Homeowners Association was held on Friday, September 26, 2008 at the Oaks North Community Center, pursuant to the notice thereof sent to all Board members. It was determined that a quorum was present and the meeting was called to order by the President, Karen Wiley at 10:03 a.m.
Directors present: Karen Wiley, Larry Allen, and Marilyn Tipler.
Also present: Eleanor Sagall, Chon Campillo (US Lawns), and Wendy DeVuyst.

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS
A. A motion was duly made by Marilyn Tipler and seconded by Larry Allen to approve the minutes of the previous Board meeting of 8/20/08 and the Special Board meeting of 9/3/08 as written. Motion carried.

MEMBER PARTICIPATION
A. Eleanor Sagall (18210 Aceituno St.) would like to have her driveway painted. She submitted an ARC application and it was denied. She wanted to know why she was denied. Karen Wiley stated that the concern is that the paint will start peeling and become unsightly and the ARC does not allow painting of driveways. Discussion on using an overlay coating rather than a paint. It would have to be the same color as the existing driveway. She would have to re-submit another ARC application.
