1. CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. with Margie Rohan presiding.
2. MINUTES:
It was moved by Frank Auwarter and seconded by Bob Ford to approve the Minutes of the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors held on April 16, 2008 as written. The motion was carried unanimously.
3. MEMBER/CLUB/COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION:
A. Black Dot Wireless: A t & T (Cingular Wireless) Lease Amendment (see Agenda Item 9.B). It was the consensus of the Board to submit the Lease Amendment to the Center’s attorney for review. John Coleman suggested that a Committee be appointed to work with Honey and our attorney and come back to the full Board with recommendations within thirty (30) days for action at the June meeting. John Coleman and Frank Auwarter will serve on this Committee.
B. Christine Berg: Mrs. Berg who lives on Plaza Maria, adjacent to Lot 99, complained about palm tree and wood debris left on Lot 99 after work was done. Honey stated that she would tell the landscape contractor to remove the debris.
The Board discussed what options were available for clearing some of Lot 99 and the fact that such clearing would need Environmental Impact approval if it was more than the 100' allowed to be cleared as “defensible space”. A bill in the State Senate (SB 1618) would increase this limit to 300'.
4. CORRESPONDENCE:
None.
5. ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Jim Starkey reported that of the six homes in Marbella destroyed in the October wildfires, three (which were sold) are under construction in Marbella and the contractor is closing on a fourth lot; one is under construction with the original owner, and one, which has also been sold, has no activity.
(1) Fence: Deferred to June meeting.
