CORRESPONDENCE

A. A letter was mailed to the six owners who lost their homes in the fire to remind them to keep weeds and debris on their lots cleaned up.

FINANCIAL REPORT … Maurice Nahum

A. Financial Statement - The statement ending 4/30/08 was reviewed and approved. We are about $7,800 under budget year-to-date.

B. Delinquent Accounts – There is currently one delinquent account.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

A. Oaks North Community Center Architectural Review Committee (ONCC-ARC) – Karen Wiley reported that there is a lot of repainting and relandscaping work being done. One request is being submitted to repaint over the Mexican decorative tile on a house. Discussion. The consensus of the Board was that this was acceptable. Jim Coote is working on updating the approved paint colors.

B. Rebuilding of Homes and Sale of Lots in Marbella - Construction has started on one home and the contractor doing the 3 homes has started the preliminary work. The Minkin lot has been sold to the contractor doing the other 3 homes. The contractor will be submitting plans for this lot.

NEW BUSINESS

B. Landscape Issues at 18034 Via Tarifa - Karen Wiley reported on a complaint about trees coming into a neighbor's yard. Ms. Wiley and Larry Allen will inspect the property.

C. ARC/Marbella Committee – Larry Allen suggested that we set up a Marbella ad-hoc architectural committee to review plans and requests before they are reviewed by the Community Center ARC. They would then be sent back to the ARC for review and final approval. Discussion. The consensus of the Board is that this Board will review all architectural plans and requests before they go to the Community Center ARC for final approval. At least 3 Board members must review the plans or requests submitted for Marbella residences. No separate committee will be established for this purpose.

With no further business to be brought before the Board, the meeting adjourned at 11:15 a.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Wendy DeVuyst, Recording Secretary

NEXT BOARD MEETING: Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.
