UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A. Oaks North Community Center Architectural Review Committee (ONCC-ARC) – Larry Allen reported a problem with a fence that was installed that has not been painted. The owner has refused to paint the fence. Mr. Allen will pursue this with the ONCC.
B. Slope Maintenance by Owners – Karen Wiley has an article for the newsletter.
C. Street Repair - Maurice Nahum was not present and there is no report.
NEW BUSINESS
A. Yard Maintenance at 12975 Ave. Marbella – Marilyn Tipler met with the owners and they claim that they have 6 broken sprinklers in their yard and don't have anyone to make the repairs. Ms. Tipler will follow up and give them some names of people who can do the work in their lawn. We will wait until the next meeting to see if the appearance of the yard improves.
B. Marilyn Tipler received a verbal complaint about a tree at 13348 Corte de Comares blocking a view. Discussion. Larry Allen stated that this owner has already removed 5 trees to accommodate view issues. He doesn't feel that the ARC will require the owner to trim or remove this tree as it is not a back view being blocked. Ms. Tipler will suggest that the two owners attempt to work out this situation.
C. Appoint Nominating Committee – A motion was duly made by Marilyn Tipler and seconded by Jim Coote to appoint Jay Riesenberg to chair the Nominating Committee. Motion carried. Marilyn Tipler also volunteered to serve on the committee. Will seek one other person for the committee.
With no further business to be brought before the Board, the meeting adjourned at 10:58 a.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Wendy DeVuyst,
Recording Secretary
