March 15, 2006
The Board of Directors Meeting of the Oaks North Marbella Homeowners Association was held on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at the Oaks North Community Center, pursuant to the notice thereof sent to all Board members. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
A motion was duly made by Karen Wiley and seconded by Jay Riesenberg to approve the minutes of the previous Board meeting of 2/15/06 as written. Motion carried.
MEMBER PARTICIPATION
A. John Ellis had questions about the City set-backs on the lots and the process for obtaining architectural approvals. Larry Allen explained that he is on the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) for the Oaks North Community Center. When an application is received for a home in Marbella, Mr. Allen takes the application and meets with the owner on site to review the proposed work. If the work planned is of a routine nature, he is authorized by the ARC to approve it. If the work is something new or different from what is already allowed in Marbella, then he takes it back to the full ARC to review. If work is done on a property and the owner didn’t get ARC approval, a complaint form is available at the Oaks North Community Center office. The City determines the set-backs on the lots.
